Welcome to Duddleswell Café & Lifestyle
The old Duddleswell Tearooms is under new ownership and following a full refurbishment opened with a new name and a fresh offering in April 2025.
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm offering a counter service café menu. Our menu changes daily, including breakfast, brunch, lunch, cakes and scones all freshly made on site, including gluten-friendly and plant-based options. Our drinks menu includes a wide selection of barista made coffees, leaf teas, matcha and organic soft drinks. We don’t take bookings unless for private events and payment can be made by card or contactless (all excluding Amex).
Enjoying a magical Ashdown Forest setting, we are dog friendly with seating inside and outside under the awning on our front terrace.
Limited free parking is available in a designated bay in front of the café or paid parking in the Ashdown Forest Duddleswell carpark directly opposite (TN22 3JR). We appreciate you parking considerately. Several alternative forest carparks are easily accessible, including Hollies (TN22 3JA) 15 minutes walk across the forest to the back of the Duddleswell carpark.

Provisions and gifts for the home & garden. A carefully curated selection of beautiful products including locally made artisan ceramics and cards, our own label local honey, jar candles and soaps and seasonal flowers and plants.
Workshops
Scheduled seasonal workshops & bespoke events. Workshops are focused on making the most of our setting including wreath making, botanical painting & flower pressing.
